GM Programming: Using Ford VCM 3 and Cardaq M for Diagnostics

Have you heard of people using Ford VCM 3 for programming with GM vehicles? I’m currently using the Cardaq M tool, and when I navigate to the selection screen, I see options for MDI, MDI 2, and Cardaq M. But here’s the issue: one of them is immediately programmable.

If I download the Ford VCI Manager software (which I normally use for GM vehicles) onto my laptop, will the VCM 3 option appear as a selectable tool for GM programming?

Has anyone else encountered this situation or knows if it’s possible to use Ford VCM 3 for GM diagnostics?
